Very nice shot: I love the compostion and color.

thank you.
I remember when I took the pic - it was such a funny day, all day long. And then, all of a sudden, as we were walking on the seashore, this image, with its sadeness. It was as if not from this world.
:iconnomadic32:
Really? The image speaks to me of hope; doors that open to the infinity of possible change. Looking through the doors, to the limitless horizon, is a looking to the beauty of the unknown.
:iconaprilsea:
y'know..... we're East Europeans, we don't have a tradition of 'doors' in the middle of nowhere, the way Japanese culture has, for instance.
This is a door without a fence. We expect to see a fence there, too. A _reason_ for the door. This wrecked door is pointless, for us, it is not for welcoming the good kami :) and for sure it is not opened but only by wind. That's why I felt it sad.
But yes, I also liked the happy line of the horizon, in the back of the pic.

great photo. I really love the fact that the blues and greens are throughout the entire piece drawing your eye across the page.

Amanda :)
